Skate Distance

 This afternoon Scott and the girls headed over to BMD for a skate distance ski, while the older boys skied from school and did a similar workout.  The BMD crew warmed up with some no pole skiing for 15 minutes and then did a few technique drills, including trying to ski in a synchonized pack (varying levels of success!).  The bulk of the ski was spent skiing back and forth over an up and down section of terrain and doing a pick up into and out of the “dip”.  15 minute cool down ski and back up to school!  Tomorrow is the first day of Parent’s Weekend so we have no classes, but we will have two workouts – double pole test at 10am and the obstacle course relay with the whole school at 2:30pm!  Stay tuned for lots more photos from the weekend!
