Québec City, Thursday, October 11, 2012 – December 6 to 9, winter will be on our doorstep and downtown Québec City will be dressed in its finest white for the Sprint Québec which will host the FIS Cross-Country World Cup. For the very first time in Québec City, the top cross-country skiers, among others the Canadian favorites Alex Harvey and Devon Kershaw, will be in town to tackle an 850 m track looping around Québec’s National Assembly.

It will be the first Cross-Country World Cup to be held in the heart of a city anywhere in the Americas, with thousands of fans gathering for the event! The atmosphere will have a distinctly urban feel as the team and individual sprint finals showcase the elite skiers at this third FIS World Cup of the 2012–2013 season.
