Here are a few photos from last week’s stay in Bozeman. We’re actually in Sun Valley now, and found some awesome snow conditions up at Galena pass this afternoon. More pictures from that (and our epic hike to Pioneer Cabin two days ago) will follow. For now, it’s a lot of fun to be out here under big skies: we have been able to explore a bunch of new places and hang out with some cool people. We’ve been collaborating with Burke Mountain Academy for the last few days, and had an awesome big dinner with them tonight, followed by some poker and other card games. Tomorrow will be our first real intensity session, though keeping the heart rate down at altitude can be hard. We’ll report back with more photos after the ski.
On Tuesday we’ll head over to West Yellowstone, where we will be for a week. Then it’s back to Bozeman for a few days before flying home. What a trip! It’s been pretty special so far, with great views, workouts, meals, and hang out time.
These pictures are from our first day skiing at Lindley Park in Bozeman. We skied on the side of the road with a little less snow cover, but the trails were interesting and fun, and had an amazing backdrop. We skied all the way until the beautiful sunset faded from the sky.
