In an era of thriving mobile and tablet technology, Mt. Borah is excited to bring their popular web-based semi-custom design center to the fingertips of tablet users with a new iPad app. Now available in the iTunes Store, the app is free, and allows users to play with infinite color variations on both tops and bottoms. Other features include live text, multiple product views, and the ability to choose upgrade options such as fabrics and pads. Once a user finds just the right combo, they can send it off to Mt. Borah for a quote.
“With an increasing amount of traffic on our website turning to mobile and tablet, it was time to provide our customers with the platform they needed to interact with our site and brand more effectively,” said Ben Wizner, Mt. Borah’s marketing lead on the project. Mt. Borah was able to collaborate with Lackner-Buckingham, a multidisciplinary design and technology firm that specializes in creating digital experiences on native iOS, Android and www platforms just outside of Madison, WI.
Mt. Borah plans to release additional sport category designs for the app throughout 2013, including triathlon, running, Nordic, and alpine skiing. You can preview the app through this video here, or visit iTunes and search for Mt. Borah. An enhanced web version will also be available within the next few weeks at mtborah.com.
