SOCHI, Russia — Out of the seven North Americans in Sunday’s 30-kilometer skiathlon, Canadian Alex Harvey made the top 20 (in 18th), his teammate Ivan Babikov finished in the top 30 (in 25th), and American Noah Hoffman tallied a top 40 (35th) in his first Olympics. The rest of the crew finished between 42nd and 54th on a tough classic waxing day with well-above-freezing temperatures on an overcast afternoon.
