WEST YELLOWSTONE, Mont. — FasterSkier walked the floor of the 2015 Yellowstone Ski Festival Expo and found some interesting gear hidden behind those piles of stickers and schwag. Mohair-skin skis, carbon-soled boots and athlete-inspired clothing were common themes among the exhibitors. Take a look through our gallery below.

Borah Teamwear showed off its new one-piece suits. This suit, made for Alaska Pacific University, uses an innovative seamless design that builds the suit as a whole rather than a sewn-together top and bottom.
New for 2015, Salomon’s Carbon Skate Lab features a ThinPly carbon construction and three different base setups, cold, wet and universal.

Fischer’s Twin Skin joined the plethora of new mohair skin skis. The offset skins free up the ski in the gliding phase, and the 70-percent mohair to 30-percent poly mixed skin is replaceable. The skin length varies depending on ski length.
Alpina Sports is bringing their footwear line to the U.S. The line includes performance light hiking shoes, casual footwear and hiking boots.
Fischer’s new Speedmax skate boot uses a full carbon sole and reduced padding in the liner to cut weight for a maximized performance.
The Alpine Elite 2.0 skate boot features a one-piece carbon sole and a proprietary carbon weave along the edges of the carbon heel counter to eliminate any hot spots.
Yoko’s 9100 Kikkan Randall Edition poles feature a 100-percent CNT (carbon nano-technology) shaft with a design inspired by Kikkan’s style.
