High ambitions
Steira is currently living in Oslo and has high ambitions for the 2006 Olympics in Torino. She has stepped up her training this summer and everything looked to be going in the right direction. But things can quickly turn, which Steira experienced a short while ago.
Abdominal surgery
Kristin had abdominal surgery three weeks ago. It was something she had to do and wasn’t dramatic above that.
– I don’t want to comment more than confirming that she had surgery, says coach Samdal. — She is now back in full training. It has not affected her preparation for the upcoming season much and she’ll race at the start of the season, says Samdal.
