Congratulations Kikkan on 2nd place, earning another US Podium. Newell finished moved on to the semi finals with a really good final lunge and finished 10th.

Marit Bjorgen has had an impressive month, including winning all 3 World Cup races in Norway.
Racing a sprint the day after the 50km was different. The race felt very fast and short. I do not like being so far out of the mix (+19 seconds) although I was closer than in Drammen (+23 seconds). Trying to stay positive but I have a lot of work to do to close the gap.
Caitlin and I had a nice cool down ski and talk about what we need to do to be faster. As a competitor it is frustrating to finish near or at the back of the pack, but it is hard to be upset when the skiing and experience is so fun.
