Nationals Day 3, 5/10 Skate

Sverre CaldwellNovember 5, 2010

We finished our Nationals week simulation this morning with a 5 and 10 km skate TT. Cambria ran away with the girls race to cement her position as top dog(ette) for the week. The boys were more interesting. After Skyler and Paddy battled it out for the win on sprint day, Austin won the 15 km classic and today Nick won the skate! Who knows what would have happened if Bridger had been healthy enough to race. With each of the boys having 1 win and 2 top 3’s, we had to go to a tie breaker (best third race) and Skyler took the overall. Before anyone besides me gets too excited, please remember that not all roller skis are the same speed. Regardless, good job by everyone this week.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRo7tnI5MI/AAAAAAAAFIY/oNo1EPnmNsg/s1600/IMG_9235.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRo7tnI5MI/AAAAAAAAFIY/oNo1EPnmNsg/s400/IMG_9235.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536165217010508994″ //aThe boys strip down for their start.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRof9O7HhI/AAAAAAAAFIQ/ts6IwDwZ6d0/s1600/IMG_9238.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRof9O7HhI/AAAAAAAAFIQ/ts6IwDwZ6d0/s400/IMG_9238.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536164740167573010″ //aIt started raining pretty hard shortly after the start.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRoRoJZOqI/AAAAAAAAFII/cyZQybYm9Kg/s1600/IMG_9239.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRoRoJZOqI/AAAAAAAAFII/cyZQybYm9Kg/s400/IMG_9239.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536164493989067426″ //aNick had a good one :)br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRn77l9nLI/AAAAAAAAFIA/zDVLE7vziLs/s1600/IMG_9242.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 326px; height: 400px;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRn77l9nLI/AAAAAAAAFIA/zDVLE7vziLs/s400/IMG_9242.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536164121252043954″ //aBottom of Stair Stepper.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRnxWel2iI/AAAAAAAAFH4/Z5_LRBNvpig/s1600/IMG_9244.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRnxWel2iI/AAAAAAAAFH4/Z5_LRBNvpig/s400/IMG_9244.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536163939490322978″ //aTop.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRnjG3uWaI/AAAAAAAAFHw/YyDMP_UGeb0/s1600/IMG_9248.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRnjG3uWaI/AAAAAAAAFHw/YyDMP_UGeb0/s400/IMG_9248.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536163694782601634″ //aCam had another great race.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRnVcVFBuI/AAAAAAAAFHo/brTzo4bZI0s/s1600/IMG_9251.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRnVcVFBuI/AAAAAAAAFHo/brTzo4bZI0s/s400/IMG_9251.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536163460024698594″ //aPaddy brings it home.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRm8Cq2GHI/AAAAAAAAFHg/fpgqhgd9POI/s1600/IMG_9257.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TNRm8Cq2GHI/AAAAAAAAFHg/fpgqhgd9POI/s400/IMG_9257.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536163023639943282″ //a??????
