ONE WAY, one of the leading Nordic Sports brand from Finland, is launching a full range of cross country skies and cross country boots from 2012.
ONE WAY is joining as a partner the Salomon SNS system for the cross country binding.

The Finnish Nordic Sports brand has been probable the fastest growing Nordic Sports brand in the last years with a wide product portfolio in cross country poles, Nordic sportswear, ski roller, Nordic Sports eyewear, technical Footwear and Nordic Walking products.
Many World Champion and medallists in cross country and biathlon are using ONE WAY products like Martin Fourcade (FRA), Aino Kaisa Saarinen(FIN), Tord Asle Gjerdalen (NOR), but as well several World Cup teams are exclusively equipped with OW textiles for their teams, like the French Nordic Team or Slovenia.

What does that sentence mean? Is there going to be an SNS plate?

Well mnfinnkid name one nordic company that imports more than one ski brand into the US.
I believe what they mean is that One Way boots will use SNS. Because companies want you to use their skis and boots they say they are going with a certain system. In reality every company’s skis can be used with either binding system.

Currently Rossignol is the Us Distributor of OneWay Clothing, Shoes, and Poles.
SNS Plate. Probably not.

great products, maybe they are looking a new partner in North America? Rossignol will have problems selling ONE WAY skis

True enough theoretically, but it sure seems like a bad situation when people have to put SNS bindings on NNN plates because the choice of plateless skis and ski brands is so limited. The word on the top Alpina boots is how close they put one’s foot to the ski and how good the feel of the ski is underfoot. That doesn’t sound like something which can be accomplished by screwing an SNS binding on a plate (and a Salomon set up – bindings and boot – ride higher than NNN do, plate or no plate). So, having another plateless ski in the U.S. made by a company known for good equipment – OneWay Diamond 10s are special – will be a good thing. OTOH, it will probably take a few years for them to get up and running at the top levels.
