RIPTON, Vt. — Cross-country action at the 2013 NCAA Championships kicked off on Thursday at the Rikert Touring Center with the men’s 10 k individual classic. Rune Ødegård (University of Colorado) helped move his team into second overall at the halfway point of the championships by winning the event in 26:00.2, five seconds ahead of University of New Mexico’s Mats Resaland.
