15K Classic, 30K Skate Interval starts Organized By MVSTA The Pursuit is MVSTA’s signature Nordic ski event with courses spanning the length of the Methow Valley. Racers chose from a Pursuit or Citizen format. Pursuit racers ski classic the first day and skate the second day.
5 K Classic or Freestyle race against the clock Organized By Amy Kuzma The series runs every Tuesday (except February 17) for eight weeks starting January 6 through March 3. Skiers of all abilities challenge themselves on a 5km course with prizes awarded in age categories and through a raffle. Awards party on March 14. Carl Johnson, a great friend to Great Glen Trails and a lover of all things skiing, passed away in 2006 of ALS. This fun race is held in his honor with all proceeds benefiting ALS research. Prizes for loudest tights, mystery time (guess your time) and fastest skate and classic time. The race will also feature an ALS benefit raffle. 1:30pm start time.
