Christina Kouros of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, a CEHS Sophomore and member of the Cape Nordic Team, recently made history as the first Eastern High School Championship competitor to compete in the adaptive sit ski event. The EHSC Championships were held at Black Mountain in Rumford, Maine earlier this month and featured 48 person teams from New England. Kourus has competed in every high school ski meet throughout the season, and been an inspiration to her entire team....
For Therese Johaug (NOR) the season is far from over, and this weekend she’ll be competing for a grand prize, in an uphill alpine hill race.

Petter Northug Jr. won the 50K skate mass start at the Norwegian National Championships in Tromsø Saturday, despite having to make a pit stop in the woods.

When Therese Johaug crossed the finish line as a World Champion in the 30K skate, Mom and Dad were among the first ones there to greet her in the paddock.
After Northug reported respiratory issues following the team relay on Wednesday, he had an entire nation worried about the relay on Friday.
While most had expected Hanna Falk to be the number-one pick along with Ida Ingemarsdotter for the Swedish sprint relay team, Charlotte Kalla showed up at the press conference Tuesday morning.
Emil Joensson made a beeline for the border after his sprint race last Thursday. He needed to get away to refocus for the team sprint, and make the days go by faster.
