Season-Opening SuperTour Races Rescheduled for West Yellowstone

The opening SuperTour races of the 2016/2017 ski season scheduled to take place next weekend, Dec. 3 and Dec. 4 in Bozeman Mont. at Bohart Ranch were recently canceled and rescheduled to take place in West Yellowstone, Mont.

The first official cross-country ski races of the season West Yellowstone Ski Festival, which has been known to attract 3,500 skiers and has been an early season tradition for more than 30 years. Newell Treated for Elbow Infection, Will Likely Miss Beito Races

Earlier this week, just two days after returning to Europe, Andy Newell realized he had a problem. His elbow was the size of an orange and so painful that he needed to go to a hospital. After an overnight stay at a second, larger hospital, Newell's bacterial infection is on the mend and he's confident he'll be ready to go for next weekend's World Cup opener.

The northeast’s largest cross country ski center, the Jackson Ski Touring Center in Jackson, N.H., eight miles from North Conway, will celebrate the most extensive expansion in its 44-year history.
