While registration for the 2012 American Birkebeiner and Kortelopet met its maximum in late November with 9,000 entries, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Wisconsin Chapter has teamed up with race organizers to auction of 20 more spots. Notodden, Norway — Norway’s Anette Sagen, the 2009 World Championships Bronze medalist, ended a two-year victory drought in Continental Cup (COC) competition Saturday on home snow in Notodden, topping reigning World Champion Daniela Iraschko, Austria, and Sarah Hendrickson, USA. DENVER – Håkon Johansen has been named Nordic assistant coach of The University of Denver ski team, Nordic head coach Dave Stewart announced today.
