The nordic NCAA Skiing Championships opened Thursday in Steamboat Springs, Colo., with Norwegian Mads Strøm becoming the University of Colorado's winningest male nordic skier of all time. Trygstad-Saari Leaves Bridger Ski Foundation for Montana State

Montana State University announced Friday that Kristina Trygstad-Saari will become the school's nordic ski team head coach starting in August. This is the second job announcement in recent months for Trygstad-Saari as she was reported to be the Elite/Post-Graduate Team Coach of the Bridger Ski Foundation in May. She has since resigned from the position.

After Rollercoaster Year, Bender Joins Bridger Ski Foundation

To say that Jennie Bender had an inconsistent season is a bit of an understatement. She won her first national championship and dropped out of her first race within the same week this January, and in April finished last in the 30 k National Championship. Now, as she recovers from a herniated disk in her back, she's moving on from her team of the past three years at Central Cross Country to the Bridger Ski Foundation in Bozeman, Mont.
