Pontresina, SUI-Beckie Scott quickly found her way back onto an international podium after winning an invitational sprint event in Pontresina, Switzerland on Wednesday. Up-and-coming star of the US Development Team, Leif Zimmerman found the necessary speed to come home first in the SuperTour freestyle sprint race held today at the Telemark Resort in Cable, Wisconsin. Just behind him, the battle for second place resulted in one of the closest SuperTour finishes in recent memory. Zimmerman's teammate Chris Cook out-lunged former National Sprint Champion Lars Flora by less than two inches in a photo finish.

Last weekend's Western JO qualifier races at the Soldier Hollow, Utah Olympic courses brought together the best junior skiers from the Rocky Mountain, Intermountain and Far West divisions. After finishing runner-up to Babikov in yesterday's 10k freestyle, Lars Flora managed to cut down the winner's margin to 15.61 seconds today.
