<p>Sweden’s Mathias Fredriksson was very active in the front of the lead pack in men’s 30-kilometer classic World Cup race in Canmore, Canada on Saturday and was almost with the podium winners to the finish line (8 seconds behind the winner). This was the Swedes first top-ten result of the season in the traditional distances.</p>
<p>Mathias Fredriksson's eleventh places from Beitostolen and the duathlon in Vernon and Anders Sodegren’s eleventh place in the 15-kilometer freestyle in Canmore was Sweden’s top results until the 30-kilometer.</p>
<p>Johan Olsson also raced his best World Cup races ever in the 30-k with a seventh (11 seconds behind the winner). Anders Sodergren was twelfth (18 seconds behind the winner).</p>
<p>Canceling the shake-up meeting?<br />
The Swedish chief of cross country skiing had before the race warned about a possible shake-up meeting when the team were to return home from Canada.</p>
<p>— We will have serious discussion when team is back from Canada to look at what to do toward the Olympics, says Anders Bergstrom, the Swedish Nordic chief. </p>
