The bike, running and rollerski season is already in full motion however some Utah XC enthusiasts are still skiing.
With a lot of snow up at high altitude the skiing is still great in the Utah Mountains! Low night temperatures and an inch of fresh snow over night on top of the crust made for great skiing on May 6 when we (Lauri Humbert, Dave Knoop and Meiko Hoemke) skied from Guardsman Pass above Park City, over Scott’s pass with a final drop into Mill Creek Canyon. It took us about 4. 5 hours on no-wax skis. Great views, some fun downhill skiing and a super workout. Join us next weekend!
