Kaisa Varis is trying again. But this time it will be as biathlon skier.

Kaisa Varis did not get a spot on Finland’s 2006 Olympic team despite being qualified. Varis was (again) banned from cross country skiing after testing positive for EPO at the 2003 Worlds. She has now switched from cross country to Biathlon. She is racing in the Finish biathlon rollerski championship in Kontiolahti this weekend.
