The Long Goodbye

Feeling a bit down? Is mud season causing you anxiety? Did you miss the big event at the Skarverennet AGAIN this year?

Well for those that can't quite seem to get excited about the idea of climbing aboard the torture rack otherwise known as your road bike, there's still hope. Dachstein Glacier you ask? Ah Nein !
The Snowfarm maybe? noo….

It's just the good old Uinta's up on Wolf Creek Pass located 40 minutes from Park City. I've been eyeing this ridgeline for many years yet never did anything about it. Finally after mowing the lawn this weekend when there is usually still snow, I just snapped and loaded up the car and headed out in search of good skiing.

Yup it's up there waiting for you and by the looks of things, it's going to keep a while 🙂 It's at 9500 ft. altitude, and has approximately 100 inches of snow.

The racing season and showing some elan and panache at your “A” races may be a faded memory but having some fun & frolic can still be had up on Wolf Creek Pass where there are endless k's of crust to ski under sunny blue skies.

As my buddy Don Pollari says, CHEERS!
