2008 Junior Olympics will feature USSA Club and High School Awards

USSA Club Trophy:

This year there will be a new award will be given to the best club teams at the Junior Olympics. The three individual races will be scored using the World Cup scoring system. A club's team score for a given event is calculated by adding all the points earned in each age class. There is no limit to the number of club members that may be scored. A separate trophy will be awarded to the best Boys Club Team, the best Girls Club Team, and the best Combined Club.

Roger Weston High School Trophy

The Roger Weston award honors the top high school boys and top high school girl teams competing at the Junior Olympics. All three individual races are scored and a high school must have at least three members competing to be eligible for the award. A team's score is determined by the top three individual performances in any of the age groups for each event. 100 points is awarded for first place, 99 for second, and so on down to 1 point for 100th place.
