In and earlier post I mentioned that the most important months for a skiers training is June, July, and August. Well Guess what?? June is GONE!!! It’s hard to believe but it’s NOW or NEVER! If you have not been training you better get your butt out the door and get something done or you will be toast!!! The R.N.R crew has been hard at work for the past month and I’m starting to noticespan class=”blsp-spelling-corrected” id=”SPELLING_ERROR_1″every ones/span fitness and span class=”blsp-spelling-corrected” id=”SPELLING_ERROR_2″confidence/span gaining on the skis. It’s not always easy to tell if the athletes are REALLY pushing themselves or just working hard. There is a big difference!!! But sometimes it is easy, Last week at the end of a hard OD session the kids where doing some uphill sprints working on there speed. I was at the top of the hill watching them come up and giving them some technique advice and some encouragement to keep the peddle down on each one. On the last one I hear a crash and look down to the bottom of the hill just in time to see reed eat it as well!!!! I love/hate to see kids or anyone eat the pavement. On one hand it means they werespan class=”blsp-spelling-error” id=”SPELLING_ERROR_3″ style=”background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0); “pushin/span hard and trying to make the gains necessary to improve there skiing. They were bothspan class=”blsp-spelling-corrected” id=”SPELLING_ERROR_4″OK/span, and surprisingly psyched about the blood!!! The moral of the story!?!? Push your limits everyday and if you happen to fall get back up and do it again!!!br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_qpcDeSX7uUU/SklvI41qGNI/AAAAAAAAABc/sx-602TdPq8/s1600-h/4858_752887844623_6212683_42756401_5132526_n.jpg”img style=”float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_qpcDeSX7uUU/SklvI41qGNI/AAAAAAAAABc/sx-602TdPq8/s320/4858_752887844623_6212683_42756401_5132526_n.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”” id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352931830593624274″ //abr /div style=”text-align: center;”span class=”Apple-style-span” style=”color:#0000EE;”span class=”Apple-style-span” style=”text-decoration: underline;”br //span/span/divbr /p class=”MsoNormal”br //pp class=”MsoNormal”br //pp class=”MsoNormal”br //pp class=”MsoNormal”br //pp class=”MsoNormal”br //pdiv class=”blogger-post-footer”img width=’1′ height=’1′ src=’https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/2153137138194667387-1806629797828872518?l=rochesternordicracing.blogspot.com’ alt=” //div
