Treadmill Testing

div style=”text-align: left;”Near the end of last week we did a similar test to the double pole machine on the treadmill. Scott found a treadmill at Pete Dickenson’s Winthrop Physical Therapy that would rise to a 15-20% grade. The goal was to find our lactate threshold while ski walking/ski bounding  on an uphill grade. Results and test strategy were very similar to the double pole machine lactate threshold test we did in Scott’s gym. This test was a little more focused on our threshold using more muscles (as opposed to upper body strength).
