Utah Day 8

FasterSkierJuly 25, 2009

For the past 8 days Dan and I have been in Utah. Dan was working at the Outdoor Retailers Show in Salt Lake City and I have been training in Park City. Things are going well. I rollerskied twice with US Ski Team coaches Pat Casey and Pete Vordenberg but for the most part I was on my own. The running and skiing in and around Park City is awesome and its very easy to get in quality workouts. On Thursday I did my first 4 hour over distance of the summer.

This trip hasn’t been all work and training though. Last Sunday night I went to the Tool concert in Salt Lake City. It rocked. On Friday night we watched Stig Fjeldheim in a ski jumping competition at the Utah Olympic Park and tonight we are headed up to Deer Valley to see Leeann Rimes perform with the Utah Symphony.
