The SMS crew was lucky enough to have the flexibility to change camp dates and we have skied on at least 10k of groomed trails everyday so far. This little powder storm gave us super smooth, mid winter skiing. It was perfect for some L3 skating. We wanted to simulate 5,10 and 15k skate efforts by breaking it down into 10 minute repeats. Boys, girls, J2/J3’s all did different amounts to get them ready for their specific race distances. br /br /After the video review, we saw a need to work on using the legs a little more effectively during skating. So next on the to do list will be some specific strength, no pole skate repeats. That should go nicely with all the upper body single stick and double pole work. br / br /The team is getting a little tired from all the skiing and are looking forward to a rest day and dinner of crepes down in Quebec City. Word on the street is a bigger 8-12″ storm for Wed/Thurs. That should open up 10’s of more kilometers and make the skiing perfect.br /br /Special thanks to T-Bone our video specialist for helping set it up.div class=”blogger-post-footer”img width=’1′ height=’1′ src=’https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4680416899705879324-2053165268993079903?l=smsxc.blogspot.com’ alt=” //div
