We have our State meet this weekend and we have not been running too much so we thought it would be a good wake up workout.br /It did not go as well as we had hoped for. In fact, it was a bit of a head scratcher for the coaches. There were 4 PR’s (Austin, Mac, Tyler, Mackenzie R) and the kids worked hard, but we had hoped for faster times.br /Sometimes stuff happens and it is important to look at it and learn from it. Here are a couple of possibilities for some sub par performances; the kids are in the middle of exams and are a bit stressed, it was warm and humid today, the runners started too fast.br /I am confident that the team is in pretty good shape so we need to talk about how to deal with academic stress, how to cope with different weather and how to pace ourselves. If we can improve these things, the workout will turn out to be one of our best.br /EVERYTHING IS PRACTICE UNTIL THE WORLD CUP/OLYMPICS/WORLD CHAMPS.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TMdki84W20I/AAAAAAAAE9I/8EXVvKacdRg/s1600/IMG_9010.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TMdki84W20I/AAAAAAAAE9I/8EXVvKacdRg/s400/IMG_9010.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532501218868779842″ //aHere are their times:br /Nick 9:58br /Paddy 10:08br /Austin 10:17br /Skyler 10:27br /Tyler 10:52br /Mac 11:13br /Heather 11:39br /Cam 11:41br /Rachel 11:44br /Issy 11:50br /Hallie 12:11br /Pheobe 12:50br /Mackenzie R 13:42br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TMdkELK5NyI/AAAAAAAAE9A/lh4owgrKHpQ/s1600/IMG_9022.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 316px; height: 400px;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TMdkELK5NyI/AAAAAAAAE9A/lh4owgrKHpQ/s400/IMG_9022.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532500690128680738″ //aT-bone.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TMdjlKJ2DJI/AAAAAAAAE84/OZXk6y4tTNw/s1600/IMG_9024.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TMdjlKJ2DJI/AAAAAAAAE84/OZXk6y4tTNw/s400/IMG_9024.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532500157279898770″ //aHeather, Cam and Rachel near the finish.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TMdjN1yYqlI/AAAAAAAAE8w/yVlMrpisx4k/s1600/IMG_9027.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 352px; height: 400px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TMdjN1yYqlI/AAAAAAAAE8w/yVlMrpisx4k/s400/IMG_9027.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532499756675803730″ //aIssy and Mackenzie hammering hard.div class=”blogger-post-footer”img width=’1′ height=’1′ src=’https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4680416899705879324-573120659875060613?l=smsxc.blogspot.com’ alt=” //div
