The skiers from Burke drove down an hour and a half to meet us in buster conditions at Trapps, and we made the most of the meeting, getting in a solid interval session in a “wave” format. The wave is a style of intervals without real rest: instead of going down to level 1 or below, the “off” time is level 2. It makes for good continuous skiing and forces us to be more conscious of our bodies as we ski. Always a good thing!
Here are some pictures from the day. The skiing at Trapps is great: even though we were dodging quite a few tree pieces today, there is a ton of snow and the conditions promise to improve in the coming days.
