Stowe Eastern Cup Photos

We had a great weekend in Stowe, VT for our third Eastern Cup weekend of the year. You’d be hard pressed to find nicer weather for a race weekend – sunny blue skies & temps in the high teens/low 20s, on top of really nice snow conditions. Plus the great courses at Trapp’s (the first time most of us have raced a full 5K loop this year) and lots of family and friends cheering our team on – what a nice weekend for skiing in New England. The Trapp’s Eastern Cup & UVM Carnival are one in the same, as it’s been for the past few years, so we also got to see many of our alums skiing well alongside our current skiers. I missed the J2 boys and women both days with shuttling skiers from the hotel to the course, but we’ll try to catch you next time. Thanks to Herve for filling in the gaps on those photos!

We missed Hamish this weekend who is recovering from a cold, but little bro Gavin did the McEwen family proud with a nice second place finish on Sunday in the J2 5k free. On the podium with race winner Cully Brown from Durango, CO & Jack Elder from Yarmouth, ME. Well done. 🙂
