Not only is March Championship month, we often have our best skiing of the year and the sun is getting warmer!
This morning, our group that is here worked on striding technique and then did some classic intervals.
I have a theory that if you lose one of your senses, the others become stronger. This morning we put the theory to test. Everyone skied no poles with their eyes closed. The goal was to get a better feel for the snow. The outcome was hilarious :).
Right off the bat, Charlie did his best “drunken sailor” imitation.
After several tries, everyone improved.
Nice day eh? 22, blue bird skies (and blue hard wax).
After the blind no-pole skiing, we got down to business and the group looked good!
Stay tuned tomorrow! We have skiers racing at the Drammen World Cup, the NCAA Championships and Junior Nationals.
