CRAFTSBURY, Vermont — Though the conditions were unique, the loop of man made snow held up well for the prologue on Saturday. The kickoff event of the 2012 SuperTour Finals had more of a relaxed atmosphere, as athletes enjoyed seeing old friends for the first time in months, and together got creative with their warm up routines. For many of the top finishers, including men’s winner Simi Hamilton (SVSEF/USST), the prologue was the first American snow they’d seen all winter.
