Last Saturday morning we ran the Namekogan Art Fest 5km. The race uses the Seeley Hills trails and includes about as much climbing as you can get in the Midwest. The course is actually a bit short of 5km after one section didn’t get mowed. I have a few benchmarks on this course and after changing up my training I have been curious to see where I stacked up. I ran 16:23 which is a bit slower than last July 16:15 and my PR of 16:01. Still I am quite pleased with the race, especially after having very little intensity work this spring.
