Jr Camp Ski Walking

 Perfect weather for ski walking intervals this morning!

 Athlete “coaches for the day” got a head start and then cheered the group through.

 Everyone did 6X7 minute intervals with 3 minutes recovery between each. The recovery time allowed the faster ski walkers to jog down below and work their way up through the group on each interval. This made for a busy trail, but allowed for great exposure to faster skiers.

 This picture shows the girl in the light blue over striding (her hips are too far behind her lead foot).

 Coach “big Gus” and “Boobs” stride up ahead.

 These girls don’t look like they were working very hard :).

We all finished together and had the madatory pose with the Stratton Bear.
