Here is a picture to sum up the week and mood of the GMVS team for the past week. Our new mascot, “Tiroler,” pronounced, Tirol–E, is keeping the stoke up! We had a solid week — the recipe for the week included a Nationals Simulation: Classic Sprint Monday, 10/15km skate on Wednesday and a 5/10km Friday. |
Friday we had awesome weather and perhaps our peak foliage. Here the group poses for a photo with our Italian guest Manuela Eberhoefer. Thanks to Louisa and Peter Moore for helping with timing and traffic safety this week. |

Maddy going for it! |
To wrap up the week we had a dual skate / run over distance. Maddy, Ian and I got to ski up the west side of Rochester Gap and explore some new terrain. |
What is this? |
We’ve also been scouting out terrain for early season skiing at the base of Inverness — with forecasts for freezing temps tonight it’s easy to get excited for winter around here! |
