Blue Skies at BMD + LAST DAY for NNF Drive for 25

November 14, 2012
Today was a perfect day for intervals at BMD – sunny, cool, blue skies, no clouds.  We did some harder L4 intervals and it was a good chance for everyone to ratchet it up a bit and figure out how to put their head down and just go.  Tomorrow we’ve got a combi distance workout on the schedule and then on Friday classes meet in the morning here and then everyone heads off for a week long Thanksgiving break.

Tomorrow is the last day for the National Nordic Foundation‘s fundraising drive!  The NNF helps to fund trips that many of our athletes have gone on and, hopefully, will go on this winter.  Last year SMS families raised over $1000 for the NNF by making an online donation.  This year we’ve already raised $2,700!  A few of our SMS skiers (Skyler, Jack, Koby, Sophie, Paddy, Katharine, & Gino) have created their own fundraising pages so you can donate through them (see photo above) and help boost our team standing among other clubs and teams around the country – all while supporting nordic skiing in the US!  Click HERE to donate.
