Assistant Nordic Director
Woodstock Inn & Resort, Woodstock, Vt. is accepting applications for an Assistant Nordic Director. This seasonal position is from approx. December 2015- March 2016, responsible for assisting the Nordic Director in all facets of operations and performs all functions in absence of Director, including trail grooming, managing rental/retail shop & teaching lessons. High school graduate. Minimum age is 18. Strong skiing and snowshoeing knowledge. Must possess a valid driver’s license & clean driving record. Must work well as part of a team, and with minimal supervision. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Nordic Center Ski Instructor/ Rental & Retail Sales
Woodstock Inn & resort, Woodstock, Vt. is accepting applications for Nordic Ski Instructor/Rental & Retail Sales positions. Responsible for greeting & assisting guests at the Nordic Center and instructing Nordic Ski Lessons, in accordance to formats recommended by the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA). Seasonal positions from approx. December 2015 – March 2016. Ski Instructor experience, Nordic skiing & snowshoeing knowledge. Previous cashier & retail experience preferred.
High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum age is 16. Must be an excellent skier, possess excellent guest contact skills & be able to multi-task. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be available weekends & holidays.
