STRYN, Norway (Feb. 7) — For the second straight race, Lindsay Williams (Hastings, MN/Northern Michigan University) posted the top U.S. result Saturday, finishing 14th with Katie Ronsse (Anchorage, AK/Alaska Winter Stars) 15th behind Norway's Astrid Oevstedal in the women's freestyle sprints at the World Nordic Junior Championships. Robin Bryntesson of Sweden was the men's sprint gold medalist with no U.S. skier making the finals (top 16 qualifiers) Beau Baldock (Jackson WY/Middlebury College) had the best U.S. result, finishing 27th in the field of 83 in qualifying.
