Kris Freeman edged Andy Newell in a battle of the US Ski Team's biggest stars on Sunday in the individual SuperTour sprint race at Soldier Hollow, Utah. Canadian Team members Drew Goldsack and Sean Crooks were third and fourth.
In the women's race, Laura Valaas proved once again that she is the dominant sprinter on the SuperTour this season by earning another win. This time ahead of Amanda Ammar, Kristina Strandberg, and Tara Whitten.
