5th Annual Steamboat Nordic Camp

FasterSkierNovember 7, 2007

The 2-day format is an action packed, fun filled way to jump-start the ski season. Catering to all level skiers, beginner to advanced (race-oriented), the camp includes:

– 2 coaching sessions per day (classic and skate technique)
– 2007/2008 demo equipment available from Fischer, Atomic, Salomon, Rossignal, Swix, Craft, Toko
– video analysis clinics
– lunch and a fun social hour on Saturday pm

At 6,700 ft elevation, Steamboat typically has excellent snow in December which allows the camp to be held at two different XC ski venues offering beautiful scenery and diverse terrain. The camp originally started for the local community in conjunction with an equipment demo-day at the local ski/outdoor shop, Ski Haus. Now that word as got around, the camp is attracting folks from all over Colorado, Utah, and the Midwest. “We’re committed to keeping group sizes small and personal so that skiers get individual feedback that they can take away with them. We have great coaches — they make this camp what it is. It’s a fun way to kick off the season, get some good skiing in early, and spend a weekend with the Nordic community that we all love.”
