Toko Textile Proof – Simply Outstanding Below is ALL of the text from ALL of the reviews fromhere. “This product was a good product, it made the wear fuzz on my winter coat disappear and appear new. I did 3 boots, one summer hat and my coat and snowboard with one can. It wasn’t very effective for the boots because it wasn’t overly thick. This product does not affect the color of the garment sprayed”...

Here are Toko’s recommendations for storage waxing of skis. First clean the skis well. This can be done with wax remover or by simply brushing the bases out well with a copper brush depending on how dirty they are. Then drip on a generous amount of NF or LF Red. Iron it in making sure that there is enough wax to provide a thick layer on the base and that the iron is hot enough to ensure a good bond between the wax and the base. This ironing procedure is normal, but sometimes a person rushes through storage waxing and the wax is not really heated outside of that it becomes liquid. The ski bases often times don't even become warm. This will result in air between the base and the ski and less protection.

Durable mesh back of hand, synthetic leather palm, back of hand over knuckles has an airprene strip which offers both support and protection. Terry cloth thumb for wiping sweat. This glove will breathe better than your winter ski gloves resulting in less blisters and cooler hands. Furthermore, these are extremely durable gloves that can also be put in the washer and dryer. MSRP $38. Find them at your favorite ski shop this spring.

I really appreciate being part of a company that is truly international. Toko has 30 main distributors that bring Toko to diverse parts of the world. Toko can be found in pretty much any country where snow and skiing is found including some places not known for skiing. When we come together for sales meetings, I really enjoy the opportunity to learn from other's experiences especially within the frame work of all of our different cultures.

The kick wax tip for the first few classic waves was Nordic Gripwax Red with a light covering of Nordic Gripwax Blue (obviously over a sanded ski with Basewax Green on it). What I was recommending to people that I talked with who visited me at New Moon Ski Shop was to arrive at the start area with just the Red on. Test the Red in a very well skied in track and then if it were dragging or icing, cover it lightly with Blue. This was the way to go.

After considering a ski's flex and structure, wax is critical to having good skis in cold conditions. The most basic aspect to cold waxing is that the base needs to be hardened a lot. This means that it needs a couple layers of a very hard glide wax such as LF Blue ironed in. This both makes the skis faster as well as makes the wax job more durable.

We send out eBlasts as late as we can in the fall so most of their recipients are excited to receive them and are “tuned in.” However, despite this, many of you miss information that you wish that you had seen (for example the first eBlast of the year outlining the differences in the new hot waxes – Tribloc and DLC). Here is an opportunity for you to catch up! My favorite eBlast of the...
