The project centers on habitat connectivity and six large blocks of habitat in northern New England. We had several Craftsbury and Albany landowners in attendance, [...]

Our BKL practice on Saturday was to participate in the 1st annual SkiErg sprints here in Craftsbury. It turned out to be a great day for an indoor workout because the remnants of Hurricane Ida were moving through and we were getting hit with heavy rains. The older kids did the 1 km distance two [...]

I promised I wouldn't spam any more emails, so I have to post this here! There was a bug keeping people from getting into public league #3, so if you tried to sign up in the last three days and couldn't get into a league, try again!PS - Marthe Kristoffersen is criminally underrated this year. I thought it was something worth sharing because of its relevance: It was chilly skiing in Anchorage today. The glazed snow was

Ben Koons earns New Zealand Olympic Standard

Muonio, Finland–Far above the arctic circle in Lapland this past Saturday, Ben Koons, of Sidney, became the first Mainer to achieve an Olympic qualifying standard in Nordic Skiing for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Koons, who holds dual citizenship in the U.S. and New Zealand, raced to a 103rd place in the men’s 15km classic at the Olos resort. Initial calculations indicate that it was good enough for a 99.54 point FIS race, and good...
