Kaeding Watches Four Stratton Skiers Advance, Hamilton Win Tour Stage: ‘They’re Really Part of Team USA’

Gus Kaeding literally had one foot out the door and his vehicle running Tuesday morning, but he couldn’t draw himself away from what was unfolding some 3,700 miles away in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. Two of his skiers were in their first sprint finals of their career, one of which was on his way to making U.S. history.

In Northern Vermont, A College Bucks Trend of Disappearing Ski Teams

This winter, Sterling College will field a ski team for the first time, thanks to a collaboration with the nearby Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Sterling, a small school with an environmental focus, hopes that the team will help build a community within and beyond the college campus - and that learning how to train for a sport will help students live intentional lives long after they graduate.

68th Annual Stowe Derby Cross Country Ski Race Challenges Skiers to Make History on February 24
