At the moment you’ll find German, Russian, Chinese and Finish national team skiers at training camp in Vuokatti. 2003 World Champion does not feel his training is going as planned after taking most of last season off On his homepage, Elofsson says he had hoped to gain more from his training this summer. – I have tried with varied training and activities to not overload my body again, but it does not all seem to work.

The first part of the base training is now over, and as the weather cools and the days shorten, the training intensity steps up. – It becomes a bit more serious in the fall, the training will be tougher and tougher, says Anders. But he feels well prepared. – I have felt and trained well this whole summer, and I now look forward to the fall training.
Unni Odegaard Update

Unni Odegaard’s condition following the rollerski accident last Sunday has improved, but it’s still too early to say how serious her injuries are. Unni was hit from behind while classic rollerskiing Sunday afternoon. The new Norwegian cross country wax team is currently being praised as being very improved. Better communication and corporation are words describing the new team’s spirit.
