Dear Team Strong Heart Supporters, friends and families,

Matt Liebsch (courtesy photo) / “The Heart of a Champion” featured by Minnetonka monthly magazine, April 2012

Thank you for your support this past season. I was able to have my best season to date and took another step closer to my Olympic dream while representing Team Strong Heart in its charity mission for Camp Odyain, an organization for kids with heart diseases.

This upcoming year is important as the World Cup (the highest level of competitive skiing) makes its way back to North America with races in Canada during the month of December. Soon after the Canadian World Cup races, points will start to count as I try to qualify for the 2014 Olympic team and the 2013 World Championship team.

This upcoming season I will continue representing Team Strong Heart in the charity mission and need a great deal of support from Team Strong Heart supporters, friends and families in the communities.

A few of our upcoming events include the BO Walk on May 5th, 2012, and the 5th annual golf outing event on September 23rd, 2012, to name a few. See http://www.teamstrongheart.com/ for more information and details. And I hope you can come and join me.

All of the donations are 100% tax deductible and payable to SILENT SPORTS FOUNDATION (memo: Team Strong Heart/Matt Liebsch), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity organization.

The month of April is time for rest and recovery from a long season of racing and training, but I am back on snow and racing again by May 27th! I will be heading to Washington State to ski the XC leg in the Ski to Sea multi-sport relay race. Again, thank you for the outstanding support in 2011-2012 season and I look forward to another great season ahead.
