Today is June 27th and I am on my way home after being on the road for a whole month. Bryan and I started out our trip with a double pole clinic in Minocqua, WI, hosted by PowerBar athlete Chris Cook, then stayed in Rhinelander a few days, went to Lakeville and Marine, MN, for a CXC training camp, drove to Waukesha for a full week of high school clinics, and finished off with a HUGE clinic at the Iola Winter Sports Center. Now I will be in Marquette for five days before our next training camp starts in Hayward, WI. The plan is to stop in Rhinelander to do the Pow Wow day’s running race and a 4th of July celebration. You can read about all the clinics that we put on in the past month HERE. The photo’s below are from the CXC Youth Clinic in Marine, MN. Photo’s from Waukesha and Iola clinics are hopefully comming soon.
Although it means a lot of travel, I really do enjoy conducting clinics. I would like to say a big, “Thank you” to all of the people who have helped us to organize clinics and given us a place to stay while we are in the area: Mary and Bob Eloranta, Donna Hoelz, Anne Riendl, Pam and Ken Schoville, Susan Wurzer and George Kraft, Juli Lynch and Chris Ransom, Dave and Lori Landgraf, Linda Cook, and Everett Meyer. These clinics are a great way for us to use our skills to give back to the skiing community and support ourselves as we train and race full time. We would not be able to do it without the organizational help of someone in the area. Thank You!
