Concept2 SkiErg has two complimentary entries for the upcoming 40th annual American Birkebeiner they would like to pass on to a skier.
The Ski Strong Foundation is created in memory of Dave Landgraf, a Birkebeiner Founder, whose life was greatly affected by the wonderful sport of cross country skiing. He skied every Birkie from 1973-2011.
Please join the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation in congratulating the winners of the 2013 Birkie Warriors & Inga Contest. The three cross country skiers will re-enact the 800-year-old legend that inspired the creation of the American Birkebeiner, now celebrating its 40th year. Your 2013 team is Chris Lawn, of Madison, WI; Tom Lawn, of Plymouth, WI; and Lori House, of Madison, WI.
Congratulations to the 10 youth cross country ski programs that will get a boost this winter thanks to funding from the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation’s (ABSF) Skier Development Grant program. The Foundation recently awarded a total of $10,000 to programs targeted to youth skier programs.
