The US Biathlon Association is seeking a coaching intern to work with its national team athletes on a daily basis and live at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, N.Y., where meals and lodging are provided at no cost. The internship begins in early June and continues through October.
Biathletes Artem Tyshchenko and Eduard Latypov and cross-country skier Kirill Vichuzhanin have had their provisional suspensions for meldonium lifted, as their samples contained less than 1 μg/mL of the drug. Cases for Eva Tofalvi and Olga Abramova are yet to be decided.

Germany's 27-year-old sprint specialist Denise Herrmann made a big announcement on Wednesday: she's going to be a biathlete. "The switch to a new discipline will be a big challenge, I am aware of that, but I am confident that I can do it with diligence, courage, and determination!" Herrmann wrote.
