Rossignol has recalled some Xium and X-11 ski boots sold from December 2007 to June 2009, due to a potentially hazardous defect. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, in cooperation with Rossignol, announced a voluntary recall of the boots.
