Norwegian World Cup skier and National team member Anders Aukland ran in to an impressive silver medal in this weekends Norwegian Cross Country running Championship. He was 22 seconds behind the winner — Karl Johan Rasmussen.  Prior to concentrating full time on cross country skiing, Aukland was a member of the Norwegian Track and Field Team. He once again proved that he can run faster than most Norwegian elite runners — at least in terrain.

The Aukland brothers dominated the field in a September 16th, 15K Classic rollerski time-trial in Maridalen right outside Oslo. Only double-poling/double poling with kick was allowed. The terrain is mostly flat and easy rolling. The event was done as mass-start and was a part of  The Long Distance National team's dryland camp.
