Mount Itasca, Minnesota – Despite there being another strong women's field competing in today's SuperTour 10k classic race, Rossignol “import” skier Natasha Naryshkina obliterated the challenging course leaving a 24 second gap to second-place finisher Shayla Swanson. Mount Itasca, Minnesota – Atomic skier David Chamberlain won today's SuperTour 10k classic event after placing 3rd in yesterday's 10k skate. Possibly the most controversial pick for the 2006 US Olympic cross-country ski team, Justin Freeman may have silenced some nay-sayers today in winning the tough 10km freestyle SuperTour race at Mt Itasca, MN. Freeman overcame killer steep climbs, biting cold, and a fast, deep men's field comprised of many of the country's top professional racers as well as club and college teams from the midwest and beyond.
